Role: Terraform SME with Network Automation Expertise (Fortinet Experience Preferred)

We are seeking a Terraform Subject Matter Expert (SME) with extensive experience in automating and managing complex network infrastructures. The successful candidate will possess a solid track record in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) utilising Terraform, aimed at creating scalable and efficient infrastructural deployments. Experience with Fortinet SD-WAN solutions such as FortiGate and FortiManager is advantageous but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage IaC solutions for network automation using Terraform.
• Develop scalable modules and configurations for diverse environments, including multi-cloud and hybrid setups.
• Optional integration of Terraform with Fortinet SD-WAN solutions, including setup of VPNs, security policies, and routing.
• Optimize network orchestration workflows and uphold IaC best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that Terraform automation aligns with broader client and business objectives.

Required Skills:

• Demonstrated expert-level proficiency with Terraform, including advanced module development, state management, and the deployment of complex systems.
• Experience with network automation tools and protocols such as BGP, VPN, and MPLS.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like Azure and AWS, with a strong understanding of their networking and security features.
• Ability to balance and prioritize conflicting requirements from clients and technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Terraform certification (e.g., HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate).
• Experience deploying and automating Fortinet SD-WAN.
• A solid background in DevOps or CI/CD processes related to network infrastructure.
