Role Overview

83zero have partnered with a growing Health-Tech Organisation based in Kings Cross, London. These guys are on a mission to develop and enhance the software used in the NHS and are already rolling out this new product which hasn't been enhanced in over 25 years.

As an Operations Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic initiatives and enhancing operational efficiency across various teams. This high-impact position involves collaborating with multiple stakeholders and taking full ownership of critical projects from the outset. You will have the opportunity to significantly influence the growth and operational excellence of a rapidly scaling business. Working closely with product, implementation, and engineering teams, you will help shape a support ecosystem that directly impacts healthcare delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Problem-Solving and Escalation: Act as a primary problem-solver and escalation point for operational challenges.
  • Process Optimisation: Identify inefficiencies, optimise workflows, and implement scalable processes to support growth.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to industry regulations, governance processes, and risk management best practices.
  • Project Leadership: Lead and deliver cross-functional projects, collaborating effectively with internal teams.
  • Strategic Planning: Support strategic planning and growth initiatives using data-driven insights.
  • Team Mentorship: Mentor and support the operations team, fostering skill development and confidence.
  • Process Ownership: Continuously improve key customer and business operations processes.
  • Project Management: Manage and drive ad-hoc projects from inception to execution, ensuring successful delivery.
  • Data Utilisation: Leverage data to generate insights that inform business strategy and operational improvements.

Qualifications - Desired Skillset

  • Experience: 3+ years in operations, project management, or business operations, ideally in a tech company, consulting firm, or healthcare industry.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable with ambiguity and willing to go the extra mile to achieve results.
  • Problem-Solving: A highly capable generalist who excels at solving complex problems and driving operational excellence.
  • Ownership: Proven ability to take ownership of projects, working independently and collaboratively to achieve results.
  • Communication: Strong communication and stakeholder management skills for effective cross-team collaboration.
  • Process-Driven: Keen eye for optimising workflows and improving operational efficiency.
  • Agility: Experience working in fast-paced, evolving environments, such as startups or health-tech settings.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to balance high-level strategic thinking with hands-on problem-solving.
  • Process Improvement: Track record of implementing and improving company processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Flexibility: Comfortable working in an agile and flexible environment.
